Go for it. The first thing you need is a tin soldering iron. You can find it in many places and it is cheap. From 6 euros (very cheap price) the simplest. The average is around 10 euros. You can find it in hardware stores, is Asian bases or in large supermarkers. When you go to buy it you have to make sure that he tip is round and that it has 30 watts wire, 0.8 millimeters thick. It is used to melt the green or blue wax of the cue and also to make wax welds on the pieces.

With this tool, you can now create a large number of pieces and apply many techniques such as fine dripping, dripping, overlapping, extraction, among others. In later posts we will expliain some of theses techniques.

Another necessary tool is to get tube of the desired ring size. I use pieces of copper pipe, you can find them in hardware or pulbing stores. There are pipes of alomst all diameter thicknesses and you can ask them tp cut them for you or cut them yourself. This will help you make the rings with any of the waxes ans techniques.

You will also need a hard surface to work on. You can use a netbook cover or wood (such as a piece of parquet). Sire to fix the pieces and not dirty the surface where you work.

Another useful tool is templates with textures. They serve to record the pink wax. There are all types and all sizes. You'll find them at craft or fine arts stores. You can find them from 6 euros. If you don't want to use templates you can use anything that has relief (leaves, rice, fabrics...)

Shape cutters are another of the tools used. There are all shapes and sizes (flowers, animals, instruments...). They are used to cut the wax in the shape of the cutter anf create jewelry with this shape. You can use kitchen cutters like those used to make cookies. You will also find them in arts and crafts stores and in kitchen supply stores.

You also have to do with a sponge sandpaper. There are different fineness. It is used to polish the wax and make it as smooth as possible.

An essential tool is the small dryer, or you can also use hot water (almost boiling) instead. It serves to heat the wax and thus be able to mold it.

You will need hand tools such as scalpel cutters, punches and stuffers. They are used to cut, engrave or shape to the waxes. You can also find these in craft or fine arts stores.

Finally and to finish it is very important that you get sandpaper or files or a dremel or polishing motor. It is used to polish the pieces once they leave the Foundry.
